Flying Lessons

Out at the model airplane air field in East Mesa Jacob got his first flying lessons. He and Shane are part of the club out there and a very nice man named Rick, who also helped Shane learn to fly, gives lessons. Jacob has a yellow slow stick plane but was too nervous to fly it so Rick allowed him to fly a red one instead. Jacob instantly fell in love with flying...like father, like son. It can be so hard sometimes to see our son growing up, but there is tremendou joy in it too. He is becoming more and more confident in all areas of his life which is such an encouragement.
