Have I ever mentioned that I am married to a man of many talents? We made the decision to finally paint the outside of our house in November. Thanks to a great friend, it was done just after Thankgiving and it looks like a brand new house. So of course my old southwest decor security door had no place with the new paint. We looked online at new doors, and yikes...expensive! Shane and I talked about whether he could cut out the southwest parts of the door and if we could, add our own custom design. It worked, and 10 days at the powder coat place for a new color and bang, here it is. I find myself driving past my house just to look at it because the whole package is so beautiful! The whole door transformation cost just over $100, saving us over $250 if we would have bought new! So, if you want your door 'upgraded' give my man a call.
